Unlucky for me...
2009-06-24 04:17:18
Just today, my laptop just suddenly stopped working for some reason I don't know... The screen is all fuzzy, you won't be able to see a whole single thing... I think the problem is the flex cord of the screen. Its the cord that's connected to the motherboard of a computer. Its called a flex cord because its flexible, good for use with a folding screen laptop. Those things will probably cost me a fortune to get fixed... I might be able to retrieve the data that was in the external hard drive. That internal hard drive contained all of my school work, 3000+pics, 30+videos and many more... I just hope that I'll be able to get the flex cord fixed... Or maybe I'll just get the same model and transfer the internal hard drive... The less time consuming and longer lasting solution, the better.

You can simply take out the internal hard drive and get a "slim external case", that way you can plug it into any other computer and get your data...
Are you sure those flex cords are that expensive? I've never had to replace one, but I would guess the most expensive component on the laptops is the LCD itself, not the cables... you can try replacing it yourself...

Hmm... I'll try that. Thanks for the suggestion IGC.
Yeah, LCD's are a pain to replace. Once I had to replace the LCD screen of my DS and PSP. Lost half of my savings...
