i need some recommendations for good series to watch.

here's a list of anime that i like:
one piece
fate stay night
lovely complex
toradora!
soul eater
fruit basket

anyone knows of any other anime that i would be likely to enjoy?

well, ive one seen one of those (fate/stay night) parts of one piece, and some of the others are on my to watch list...

but based on a quick wiki search and comparing genres and demographics (lol i sound like such a dork)...

i would say something in the romantic comedy or comedy/action(drama)/romance kinda thing....im not seeing any harem so...

if you would like to try some harem i would suggest Love Hiina or Ah! My Goddess! or Ai Yori Aoshi or Vandread

if not, then some romantic comedies are Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan or Chobits or Onegai Teacher or Onegai Twins or Pita Ten

some action/dramas with romance story lines are DN Angel or Full Metal Panic! (be sure to watch TSR and Fumoffu too) or Mahoromatic or Shakugan no Shana or Tsukuyomi Moon Phase

hmm...u didnt mention ecchi either so because i already listed a bunch ill stop for now if u want me to list some ecchi series just say so and i will. i know a bunch of ecchi series too lol...but its like 2 am right now >_>

Just finished watching DN angel. Really cool.
I'll try to watch shakugan no Shana next time.

Well I've both watched and read everything on your list; and they cover a semi-decent range. I'll do things a bit differently than 2 + 2; Ill list a series on your list and beside it some anime's that have a similar feel to it (or at least, through my personal experience)

One Piece - It's a popular series, based off of comedy and action; a typical shonen. The obvious choices are the two other very popular shonen series: Bleach, Shaman King and Naruto.

Fate Stay Night - Romance, action and has more mature themes than the previous. Similar to this series would be: Blood+, Mai-Hime, Mai-Otome, Shakugan no Shana.

Lovely complex - Comedy, romance and shoujo. There are a great number of series like this; unfortunately, I try to stay away from shoujos; since they don't usually offer as much as other genres, so I cant offer too much there. Some similar series are: Chobits (As 2 + 2 said)... Then I run out of Shoujo animes I've watched, some very well made mangas though (don't know if you like manga, but...) are Pastel and Tenshi ja nai!

Toradora - This is a very new series and is still ongoing if I'm not mistaken. Its a love comedy as well, but this time around it's not shoujo. Some great series similiar to this are: The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, Midori no Hibi, To-LOVE-Ru, Zero no Tsukaima (Is, coincidentally, my 25th favourite series of all time. Also contain ecchi, so if you're not into that, avoid it).

Soul Eater - My 10th favourite series. It's quite excellent. This one is a series you can't place, since it is so different, conventional means cannot place it. Not a comedy, shonen, action or anything of the like. I've got a few really excellent series that match, and sometimes exceed, soul eaters awesomeness. Cowboy Bebop (my 3rd favourite series of all time), Rosario + Vampire (My 14th), Air Gear (9th), D. Gray-Man (24th), Full Metal Alchemist (16th).

Fruit Basket - This falls under the exact same category as lovely complex, so I cant name any other series (Shoujo)

if u like one pice y dont u try watchin 1 of the big anime series eg naruto,bleach or dbz

but personly ilick naruto,bleach and dbz but dont like one pice coz its about a boy who thinks he's a pirate where he more like a treasure hunter coz he dosnt rob anything and what kind of a pirate cant swim ???

Fate/Stay Night and Soul Eater are good choices, u can also try Naruto, Bleach, Code Geass, D. Gray-Man, Black Cat, Tsubasa Chronicles,

I agree on watching Shakugan no Shana.

Its badass and poplular... and its got 2 SEASONS!!! ZOMFG!

Its got action, swords, some loli's, and a bad ass sword fighting chick that doesnt know how babies are made (always funny).

Oh, and lets not forget about Code Geass, the single greatest anime ever created by anyone EVAR!

Its like Death Note, only instead of a notebook, he gets a superpower in his eye, and instead of a demon person as a sidekick, he gets a hot green haired girl, and he's not a total prick... mostly. And its got Mecha. Thats always badass.
