Well I have been thinking today, how does a Multiple uploader sound?
In principle, it sounds like a great idea, and I thought about adding one when I did the new one, but there is one big issue that I think was already discussed, and that is that most of the images would end up with the same image name and information. We are trying to get away from that as much as possible, since we already have a lot of images with very generic names that are not helpful. If we allow multiple uploads, most of them would end up with same name, or random names. Also, we would have to process each one at a time, and decide where they are supposed to go "wallpapers vs artbooks vs covers vs..." which would end up looking cluttered. Also, processing so many pictures at a time (create thumbnail, reduce image, etc) would kill our server...
So, the answer, for the time being is most likely not in the near future.. but who knows.
) and (5:4) resolutions, but I've never seen, or heard about monitors with those resolutions, so any image that is uploaded with that resolution must have an original with a better resolution out there...
