I just thought that since almost everything users twitter nowadays, that it might be a good idea to have a twitter account for the site.
I will use it to post updates, news and other things related with the site. I do not have an account personally, but I figured the site might get more traffic and people might get easy updates if we had one.

PS: If anyone knows how to use the tinyURL feature in twitter, let me know, I've seen people with those tiny urls on their feeds, but I just posted a link and it kept the whole thing.

hahahaha. I only have facebook because of my girfriend and I never use it... but hey, a LOT of people do use it, so I thought we should experiment.

i personaly never hear of twitter. I think myspace and facebook are the world biggest spam places.

Iv haven't heard of twitter either but if it brings more traffic then good

i just readed that in twitter is a big security hole. You soul turn off SMS function.

I didn't put my phone information when I signed up, so no worries there! I think the SMS option is unchecked by default though.

I cannot believe you guys didn't know about twitter....

I guess it is more of a US thing then... because everyone talks about here... the news, magazines, papers, websites... even the White House, actors, celebrities and their dogs have twitter accounts...

spam twitter? duh...but who doesnt spam myspace or facebook? i dont think spam should be an issue, its just getting our name out there.

and im surprised people havent heard about twitter too...but it is relatively new i guess....people are predicting it will take over facebook just like facebook did to myspace....

people can spam on twitter all they want, but as long as I don't follow the spammers, we should be alright...
Of the three followers we have right now, one and a half are spammers, but it doesn't bother us... our feed will be clean as long as we do not follow anyone or only follow people we can trust.. like users on the site, but from the replies we have on this thread, I don't think many of you have twitter accounts
