Sup menz and womanz!

Iam on the site abit longer so its not a fresh introdution. Altrough long story put short I just wanna say i liked the first looks of the page and was amazed by the amout of the uploaded stuff! Nice job so far for these things!

Ok some critizm! Not much tho

On the second sight i see some upload and gallery "chaos". - do not take this word to serious. Its nothing big, but I was today browsing abit and run into the K-ON section and in the Artbook part i found more Wallpapers then Artbook or artbook like scans and also many custom made pictures. There is a wallpaper section so idk why there are clearly seen wallpapers put into artbook section. :S

Something about me. Iam 24 y old and iam a passioned DVD ORIGINAL cover collector. Ive seen u have a decent basis of DVD cover scans altrough ure missing alot of the "RARE" stuff i can provide mostly in 300 DPI and some in 600 DPI resolutions for all u cover addicts like iam. Iam getting mine frim various anonymous Japan sites that links i wont reveal ofc They are my treasure :>. But iam willing to help the site and also help to become one of the top if not the top English speaking site that bring the most and the best quality anime DVD covers. Ive got like over 5 GB of covers in like 200 different series.

Also one additional question!

I have also alot of VERY high DPI quality artbook scans of various series. They are mostly 5000x,6000x, up to 15000x res. Mostly about 15/20/ up to 40 Mega. Can i upload them at its full size or to scale them down. And if scale tell me plz what would be the best res. for u ppl. Since i dont wanna flood the bandwith with tons of MBs

Hi Eze.

To answer your questions:
1. Are you sure the images you saw on the K-ON artbook sections were wallpapers? Some of the images may look like it, but their resolutions are not exactly valid for wallpapers, so that might be a reason. If you are sure that is the case. There is a topic in the forums, where you can post the links to the images and one of the mods will fix the issue.

2. Bring on the COVERS!! hehehe, that was one of my objectives from the beginning. I've always been an avid DvD Cover collector, and for every series I had, I had to have the original covers, that's why the site has a special category for them, and they are listed by language and we only accept good quality covers. So, please, upload as many as want, the additions will be very welcome!

3. 40Mb might be a little big! hehehehe, I think that anything below 10,000x10,000 should be good. The site itself does not have any restrictions on the amount of images we can have, the only problem is that downloading files that big can cause some stress on the server... but you can try uploading some of them, and see what happens...

1. Maybe iam abit strict since iam also a passioned artbook collector and as far i saw many of them were custom made. Defacto they are not part of ANY artbook since its a composition of existing pic's and/or fanmade and mixed with some templates in PS . As for the other pics like scans from various magazines, CD cover pics, randers, OST inlays/pics etc its ok. Even if its not having a resolution tipycal for a Wallpaper it doesnt mean its not one. Dont get me wrong these are just my own toughts DD. Not mine site so its ure call

2. YIPPIEEEEE! Cool ima troll abit the gallery and filter the ones some cattegories are missing and hook them up with mine ;3 Many categories missing tho i have full collection ;>

3. Oke sure its understandable that 40 megas for a pic is much, but what to do if my scanner at work is A3. When i scan an A3 it comes up at 30 MBs + and over 12000x . Will resize so anyways pulling down the res. doesnt change the quality of the pic ;3

1. It is hard to say what is wallpaper when it have resolution like 1763x1322 or so. When we Mods should check every image if it have the right aspect ratio we will go mad.

I have try uploud image over 30MB and the uploud system say something like only to 20MB.

@Eze, You are right, the Artbooks/Scans section has more stuff than just artbooks, but when site started there really was the need for separate sections for actual Artbooks and the another for Scans of other types, so it just ended up being the same...

@Nujin, I knew there was some limit, I just couldn't remember it.. yeah.. 20Mb sounds about right! (I think that's a pretty generous size for images )
