This document will provide the guidelines for uploads to the site.
Since the rules are different for every image type that the site has, the guide is divided into categories.

There are a couple rules that apply to ALL images:
Images should have appropriate names
Please, make sure you provide a good name for the uploads, since this helps to keep the site organize and achieve a higher level of quality.
Also, most wallpapers already have a CAPTION or NAME on them, so in most cases, you just need to copy that.

All ADULT content images should be flagged.
If you upload an image that you think it MIGHT be inappropriate for children, you should mark them as such when uploading, so they are not display by mistake.
This will keep the site safer and we will avoid any problems.

Wallpapers
Wallpapers should be at least 1024x768.
Even though the site automatically generate all possible resolutions down to 800x600, the original image should be at least 1024x768. If the image is smaller, it should be uploaded in the Others section.

Wallpapers should have appropriate screen resolutions.
The most common ratios for computer screens are 4/3, 5/3, 5/4, 8/5 and 16/9.
In some cases, dual screen wallpapers are wider than that, but as a general rule, wallpapers should have one of these ratios, and good/valid resolutions (1024x768, 1600x1200, 1900x1200...)
We have seen several uploads with cropped images, that should not be uploaded.
The main reason is that they cannot be automatically scaled, because they do not fit into any of the previously mentioned rations, but they also do not properly fit the screens, so they end up being stretched and not looking so good.

Wallpapers from authors that do not want their work in our site should not be uploaded
We have had complains from some wallpaper creators that do not want their works distributed in certain sites, unless they upload them, and we have to respect their decision, for this reason, wallpapers with signatures by the following authors are not permitted, and should not be uploaded/validated, unless the own authors upload them:
- kuryuki, Dioma, chloe-chan, maplerose, gaara, kitten, fran, kawaii-chicken, vitaamin and sakura-dust.
- brokenTONE group (Deto15, storm-and-fire, asa01, Nysha, and dalarty)
- Dragonrain.Com. group
If anyone finds an image from this authors in the site, please report it so it can be deleted as soon as possible.

DvD Covers
Only Complete DvD covers or labels should be uploaded as DvD Covers
Scans of the front of the cover or inlays, should be uploaded as Artbooks/Scans
Only covers with FRONT/SIDE/BACK will be validated.

DvD Covers should be AT LEAST 1000 pixels high
This is the bare minimum requirement to be considered.
Anything below that will be too low for quality printing.

Artbooks
Artbooks should be AT LEAST 1000 pixels long in the largest direction
This is the bare minimum requirement to be considered.
Anything below that will be too low for quality printing.

Calendars
Calendars must contain DATES on the image
Some calendar scans simply contain the image part of the calendar, and they do not have any dates on them. Those images are considered just scans and should be uploaded on the Artbooks/Scans section.

Previews
Previews must be 150x200 or smaller
Preview images are used for thumbnail showing on either websites or Anime List Builder
Since Anime List Builder only accepts images 150x200 or smaller, this is the size we accept.

Screenshots
No more than 10 screenshots per series.
In the case of a very popular series, we would accept more, but we would try to limit the number of screenshots to just a few.
Just choose the ones that best capture the essence of the series, or create an image collage with many captures on the same image.

I will keep updating these post with other rules and guidelines that may come up later on.

but anyway:
• go to your control panel (at the top of the page My Contols, a window slides open, at the bottom of that window, click Settings)
• in your control panel, somewhere on the left of the page you'll see this icon, with text view adult content? in red.
• change that option from No to Yes and click save.

and that's it.

so...whats ur policy on pictures that have the website i got them from on the bottom of the image?
