Hello everyone,

I just closed off the uploads sections so that we have some time to catch up with the immense number of images that you have uploaded in the past few weeks.

Since the site had the problems with the downloads, we have fallen behind a little bit, so we need sometime to recover and restore the queue back to a more reasonable length... We are thinking that maybe something around the 1000 images would be fine, and right now we were around 3000, so as you can see there is some work to be done.

For the moderators, even though we are trying to catch up, please, keep in mind the approval rules we have, and do not cut corners for the shake of speed. It is better if we validate 1000 images properly, with descriptive names, and in their proper series, than validating 2000 but then taking a month to fix all the problems.

We will keep the uploads closed for no more than a week, so even if we are not able to reach our goal, the upload section will be reopened next Thursday at the latest.

i´m not really sure if it will help much.
I thnik when the upload will be open it will jump from 1000+/- to 2000+.
I have "fast all day" validating and it go so slow when i must fast ever image to rename (i think i have made only cca. 100 images). It is that sort of thing what 2+2=5 have mention. In Anime Girls have fast every image the name "Anime Girl" (and the name is by images where are more then only one girl ).

I agree with you Nujin, I don't know if it will help a lot, but Bad Girl proposed, and she thought it would be a good idea, so I decided to close it for a little bit... let' see how it goes in the next couple days, and if not I'll open it back up again.

Thank you for closing it for a while IGC and If u find in a next few days that closing uploads is not helping.. then as you said u'll reopen it. And yes I will be careful while validating.. I believe there will be not much problem..

so is the stretching of the site related to you shutting down uploads? cause the site feels funky when its all stretched like this :S

10 minutes before you posted, I changed the CSS to remove the green bar completely (from the old layout), so simply reload using F5 a couple times, and the CSS should reload and work just fine.

hmm. whatdoyaknow. it worked.
