Hey everyone,

First of all, I LOVE this site The images are uploaded every day, high quality, etc ^^ I've been using it for about a year now, but I have request that has been bothering me for a while...

Everytime I want to download a picture, I ahve to click on it, then select the resolution then save it and then go back to the list. It would be very useful if you could just add a button underneath the samll thumbnails in the list where you can choose a resolution and download whithout having to first go to the page of the image and then go back again.

If there already is a solution for this, please tell me ^^

first of all we are glad you enjoy the site and appreciate the suggestion

and about the suggestion, i see where you are going with that but i think that this option would make the main page layout too busy with too many links. also, if people were able to download the image without visiting the image page then we would loose image views and the chance to rate, tag, and comment the image.

rather, why not make it so that when you are viewing the image page, once you download the image, the site will refresh back to the main series layout instead of staying at that image page? that would make for a bit less work but keeping all the available hits that we can get from an image.

Good suggestion, but as 2+2 said, you loose the chance to rate the image, add tags, leave comments, and even view the image a little bigger so you can make sure that you want to download the image. There are sometimes where the thumbnail looks like something you want, but when you see it a little bigger there is something missing there... and then you decide you don't want it. I think that's the biggest reason why we don't do it that way.

The other option 2+2 suggested, I don't think it would work either, because sometimes people will wait until the image downloads and they can see it full size before the leave a comment, rate or tag, and if you automatically redirect back to the list, then you loose that chance also.

It is a hard decision, because I see where your approach would be helpful, and save people some time, and make the site faster, but I think we would be loosing an important aspect of the site by doing this.

If I can think of a good way to achieve this, we might do it, but right now, I think the way we have it setup is the best solution.

erherm, I found this site on accident and love the fact that every pic i've seen is high quality, and well drawn. Regarding downloading would it be possible to make "packs" of images so that i don't have to spend hours paging through the site w/ my slow internet connection. In other words i want to download in bulk and then view the images. i haven't been here too long and i dont know if someone posted this already >.> (i would search to find out but...SLOW) sry

If you have slow connection try use Opera 10 and activate Opera Turbo. The page will be compressed (and ugly ), bud you can faster browse
