Hello everyone,
I just added a new feature that should be very useful to everyone and that I think will improve the quality of the site.

Up to this moment, whenever you uploaded a wallpaper, you could only download it in the resolution or the original upload. However, with the new feature, once a wallpaper is uploaded and validated, it is converted to all resolutions lower than the original with the same aspect ratio.
This means, that if a user uploads a high quality wallpaper with a resolution of 1920x1200, theAnimeGallery automatically creates download options with resolutions of 1680x1050, 1440x900 and 1280x800.

For now, this feature is only available for newer wallpapers, but I will work on a script that will perform the same operation on all wallpapers that were already on the site.

The resolutions are divided in 5 categories, depending on aspect ratio.
Here is a list of the different resolutions that will be automatically generated, as long as the original upload is in the same aspect ratio category and has a greater resolution of the one listed.

1600x1200, 1400x1050, 1280x960, 1152x864, 1024x768 and 800x600

1600x1280 and 1280x1024

8:5
1920x1200, 1680x1050, 1440x900 and 1280x800

16:9
1920x1080 and 1280x720

This automatic conversion will only apply for wallpapers, as it is the only type of image that benefits from different resolutions.
This will encourage users to upload the highest resolution wallpaper possible and will also reduced the need for users to upload the same wallpaper several times with different resolutions.
