If you have followed the site since it first started, you will have noticed that it has grown very quickly and that it now hosts over 8000 images.
This amount of images totals to about 3.5Gb in size, including the database, thumbnails, detail images and the actual full size images.
Since I didn't plan on the site to get so big so quickly, I was using my old host, with just 5Gb of space and obviously, space is getting tighter and tighter, so I'm planning to change hosts and get a bigger server (around 100Gb) that will be hard to fill out.

This will improve various things other than space, including bandwidth, which will increase from 100Gb/month to 1000Gb... although currently we only use 40%, and the fact that the site will use the domain theAnimeGallery.com as it's default domain.
No more redirections to http://anime.igc-web.com/gallery

I will announce when the change will be made and probably we will not allow uploads for a short period of time, so there are no differences between the temp site and the final site.

As you can see, good things are going on with the site, and I hope it keeps growing, specially on users, which is where we are lacking a little bit, specially given the huge amount of material we have!
