The new search is not 100% complete yet, but you can easily find the new images by navigating the site.
If you want ANY new images, you just need to go to the Series List and the list is ordered by update time, so the top series are the ones with new images.
If you are looking for a specific type of image (wallpapers, artbooks, covers) you can go to the Gallery page and see if your category is marked as having new images images. If it does, you just click on it, and you will get a list of series that have that new instances of that type of image ordered by the update date (newest at the top).
When I finish the advance search module, you will be able to search for new images.
