I don't know if you have noticed, but we have been getting a huge amount of uploads lately. So much so, that is very hard for me to keep up with them, but I am doing my best.

Due to the number of images that are left in the queue, waiting to be uploaded, I have started to validate more images every day. I have also been more restrictive with the validation, so you might see more images get rejected, specially if the quality is not high enough, or if they do not follow the upload guidelines.

The older images that I have to validate were uploaded just 8 days ago, but we have more than 1000, so you can see that we have had a big push lately.

The other thing changing because of this, is the "NEW" notice that is place on the categories, and the images. If you are in the main gallery page you will get a little notice with the number of images that are marked as new. Also, inside the categories, new images have the time displayed in RED when seen as thumbnails. Until now, the images were marked as new for 2 days since their validation, but I have changed that to be only 1 day (24 hours). That way, it will be easier to find the updates every time they happen.

Also, I keep recommending that you use our toolbar, which has our RSS feed built into it, so get notified once new images are added to the site. Of course, you can also use any RSS reader of your choice.
