Hello everyone, just another small update... I'm on a roll since we moved!!!

Since I bought a netbook a few months ago, I've always felt that it was hard to find wallpapers that fit the small screen and unusual resolution (1024x600). Looking around other sites, I've seen that we can compromise a little bit on aspect ratio, and use both 16:9 (1920x1080) and 8:5 (1920x1200) as base resolutions to extract good quality netbook wallpapers.

In fact, I just ran a test with a Death Note wallpaper and you can't barely see the difference. So, from now on, wallpapers that are submitted with aspect ratios of 16:9 or 8:5 will be transformed to all the available resolutions on those aspect ratios and the netbook resolution of 1024x600.

This will also help when I release the "Anime Cyclone" application, because netbook users will not be left out, and they will have some wallpapers that will work for them as well.

Some of you may wonder:
What about those wallpapers that are already on the site, and can be transformed?.
Well... those will be transformed as well at a later date. As you probably know, most of the older wallpapers do not have the variable resolutions attached, due to the fact that this is a relatively new feature on the site, but once we roll out the script that will create the different resolutions for all wallpapers, we will make sure that netbooks are accounted for and their resolutions created for the appropriate images.
