Demonbane is a series by Nitroplus with mecha and Cthulhu Mythos elements. Beginning as an eroge for the PC, it was ported into a PlayStation 2 non-eroge remake, a sequel visual novel, a prequel novel, a television anime adaptation and a conversion to manga. An English version of the original Demonbane PC game has been released by JAST USA. Ni8 did the character designs for the original PC game.

Story In the world where both science and magic have advanced, Arkham City is a metropolis that has prospered due to its highly advanced magic. However it is threatened by a criminal syndicate called the Black Lodge. Master Telion - the most powerful wizard, scrupulous criminal and sociopath - is the leader of the Black Lodge, and will stop at nothing to complete his secret agenda. To counter the rampaging of Arkham City the Hado Family Group, the guardians of the city, build a powerful robot named Demonbane, to stop the Black Lodge's nefarious plans.
